The KMEP Loevskoe PMS is a key link in the system of land reclamation and water resource management in the district. The enterprise provides regular maintenance of facilities, coordinates work with agricultural enterprises to increase land productivity and reduce the risk of flooding and waterlogging. The chief engineer, Yulia Lyosenok, spoke about what the land reclamation specialists are doing today.

• Autumn is a time of active work for land reclamation specialists. Currently, the main resources are focused on the reconstruction of the land reclamation facility "Drainage of lands in OAO Urozhainy". It is located on the lands of the joint-stock company in the village of Progress. Its area is 244.2 hectares.

We are also carrying out a complex of other measures: we are clearing tree and shrub vegetation from areas and canals with subsequent removal to storage sites, cleaning canals from siltation with subsequent leveling, cutting down hills and filling in depressions. We are implementing the opening of funnels, the construction of open (new canals) and closed networks (drainage), new hydraulic structures. In addition, we are engaged in technical maintenance.

The activity of KMEP Loevskoe PMS has long gone beyond the boundaries of one district. The professionalism of our specialists is in demand throughout the southeastern region. Today, local land reclamation specialists are working on the facilities "Reconstruction of the land reclamation system 'Sponka', 'Urochishche', 'Zolotoe' in OAO 'Vetkovsky Agrotekhservis' of the Vetkovsky district, as well as carrying out cultural and technical land reclamation in the Zhlobin district. The work includes technical maintenance of land reclamation systems: mowing of canal berms and slopes, cleaning canals from siltation, repair of hydraulic structures, clearing of tree and shrub vegetation (TSR) and removal of remains to piles.

In addition to its core tasks, Loevskoe PMS is a reliable partner for local agricultural enterprises. The enterprise provides significant assistance to the KSUP "Byvalki" and "Sovkhoz Zarya" in carrying out sowing and harvesting campaigns, understanding that the success of agricultural workers is a common cause.

Preventive measures are of particular importance for land reclamation specialists. Regular flushing of the drainage system, repair of collector mouths prevent siltation and system failure. Their implementation allows increasing the efficiency of using agricultural land, improving agrotechnical conditions for crops and reducing the risk of crop losses due to excess moisture. In the long term, this contributes to an increase in crop yields and the economic stability of agricultural enterprises in the Loevshchina region.

The work is being carried out in stages. These events involve both reclamation specialists and specialized equipment: excavators, bulldozers, and machines for disc processing of soil. This approach minimizes damage to the fertile layer and accelerates the return of land to agricultural use, noted Yuliya Aleksandrovna.

The completion of the planned work will ensure the long-term operational reliability of the reclamation networks. For the Loev region, this is a real contribution to the development of agriculture, increased crop yields, and strengthening of the region's economic stability. Local reclamation specialists know that the land loves care, and their work is the best confirmation of this.
