— This is my first time participating in the financial literacy olympiad, but the olympiad movement is nothing new to me. Previously, I took part in olympiads in mathematics, history, geography, and German, — shared Ivan Shchemelev, a 7th-grade student at the Veremeyki School. — It was a bit nerve-wracking because there was very little time, just one hour. But I managed to suppress the anxiety and ended up solving everything. The most difficult tasks for me were those in financial mathematics. But overall, I prepared diligently: I solved the tasks from previous years' olympiads — at the district and regional levels. My preparation was guided by my homeroom teacher, Kristina Nikolayevna Sadovnikova, who teaches us not only history but also financial literacy lessons. Thank you very much to her for such wonderful preparation.

As methodologist Tatyana Madudina explained, everyone — both participants and teachers — will now eagerly await the invitation to the third (regional) stage of the olympiad, which will take place on November 20 at the Mogilev State Regional Institute for Education Development.

— Based on the results of all district stages, a ranking by points will be compiled, and it will become clear whether any of our kids make it to the regional level, — noted Tatyana Mikhailovna. — Over the years of the olympiad, Cherikov schoolchildren have repeatedly become participants in the regional stage. We hope that this one will not be an exception. In any case, we are grateful to all the kids for their participation and for the worthy results shown at the district level.
