The Council of Ministers of Belarus on October 13, 2026 approved the list of urban development projects, the procurement for development of which is to be placed in 2027. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Alexander Turčin.

This was announced by the government press service.

The list was compiled based on proposals from regional executive committees.

It includes the development of 13 urban development projects.

Among them are schemes for comprehensive territorial organization of all regions of the republic and their individual districts.

Separately provided for is the development of master plans for the cities of Grodno, Zhodino, and Bobruysk.

Furthermore, the list includes the development of a master plan for the republican-level recreational area "Vileyka".

The practice of approving such a list is annual.

The Council of Ministers, based on proposals from regional executive committees, each year approves the list of urban development projects, the procurement for development of which is to be placed in the forthcoming financial year.

The document specifies which projects will be ordered and financed in the following year.

Thus, the government has approved the urban planning design plan for 2027, covering both regional territorial organization schemes and master plans of key cities and the recreational area.
