The Tax Inspection reports that a campaign to send notices for the payment of property taxes for 2025 has begun. The calculation is made in the form of a single payment that combines land tax, real‑estate tax, and vehicle tax.

There are several ways to receive notices:

  • electronically – via the Taxpayer’s Personal Account. This method is for users who have activated the electronic mailing feature;
  • on paper – via postal service to the address of permanent registration.

Property taxes are paid annually based on notices from tax authorities, which are delivered to individuals no later than October 1.

The single property payment must be made by November 16, 2026. Taxpayers may pay the full amount in advance or make payments in installments.

The single property payment can be made directly in the Taxpayer’s Personal Account or via the ERIP payment system, as well as at bank branch cash desks and at Belarus Post (“Belposhta”) postal service offices.

For individuals who are users of the Taxpayer’s Personal Account and have confirmed their desire to receive notices electronically, notices for the payment of property taxes are sent to the Personal Account and to their email.

For citizens who have not connected to the Taxpayer’s Personal Account, or who have connected but have not confirmed their desire to receive notices electronically, notices will be sent by mail by October 1, 2026.

According to the Code of Administrative Offenses, late payment or non‑payment of property taxes is no longer considered an administrative offense.

From this year, that administrative liability for individuals has been replaced by another provision. If a citizen has not settled their tax obligations by the end of the current year, and the amount of non‑payment exceeds one basic amount, then in the following year, when calculating taxes, an additional 15 % of the amount they underpaid in the current year will be added to the amount demanded. Additionally, as before, late payment of taxes incurs a penalty for each day of delay, and enforcement authorities may take measures to forcibly collect debts.

Detailed explanations of the calculation procedure and property tax benefits are available on the official portal of the Ministry of Taxes and Fees of the Republic of
