The FPB announces for the first time at the republican level the competition 'Best Mentor' and 'Best in Profession among Young Workers'.

The feature of the competition is the division of participants into several categories taking into account industry specifics. This approach will allow an objective assessment of workers' professional achievements.

For mentors, three categories are provided:

• 'Best Mentor in Production' (industry, construction, agriculture);
• 'Best Mentor in Infrastructure and Services' (energy, transport, communications, housing and communal services, forestry, trade, banking);
• 'Best Mentor in the Social Sphere'.

In turn, the title 'Best in Profession among Young Workers' is also awarded in three analogous categories.

Participants can be trade union members who demonstrate high results in labor, scientific, or practice-oriented activities, implement advanced experience, and actively participate in public life.

Important: candidates are nominated directly by representatives of labor collectives – at a meeting, conference, or extended session of the trade union committee with the participation of authorized employer representatives.

After that, participants undergo selection at the regional and industry levels.

Pre-selected applications must be submitted to the FPB by March 5, 2027.

The winners of the newly established competition will be solemnly awarded on Labor Day – May 1.
