The “Zero Kilometer” team from the Belarus State University of Transport left for Moscow on October 27 to represent the country at the International Transport Design Competition, gp.by reported at the university.
The journey to the Russian capital was the result of five months of intensive work. Participants fine‑tuned algorithms, tested prototypes, and prepared presentations.
The International Transport Design Competition brings together students from various countries. This year, participants were tasked with improving the operational readiness of trains on the high‑speed Moscow–St. Petersburg corridor. It is symbolic that Belarus and Russia recently signed an agreement to build the Moscow–Minsk high‑speed line. This raises interest in the task and gives the Gomel university a chance to showcase its competencies.
