In August 2026, the nominal average wage paid to workers in Belarus amounted to 3,135.9 rubles. The highest salary was recorded in Minsk — 4,032.7 rubles, and the highest earnings were among workers in the information and communications sector, where the figure reached 6,533 rubles.

In August of this year, the average wage in Belarus amounted to 3,135.9 rubles.

This is the nominal gross amount, that is, the sum before deductions for taxes and mandatory withholdings.

Traditionally, the capital remains the leader in terms of labor compensation. In Minsk, the average wage reached 4,032.7 rubles.

Among regions, the best indicator was recorded in Minsk region — 3,274.1 rubles.

Following are: Grodno region — 2,821.6 rubles, Brest region — 2,800.5 rubles, Gomel region — 2,773.6 rubles, Vitebsk region — 2,668.5 rubles, Mogilev region — 2,655.8 rubles.

Regarding industries, the highest salaries continue to be in the information and communications sphere.

Here the average wage amounted to 6,533 rubles, which significantly exceeds the all-Russian level.

Other sectors in the official Belstat compilation are not detailed, however, the IT and telecommunications sector continues to maintain leadership in income.

Thus, the August statistics confirm a persistent differentiation in labor compensation between the capital and the regions, as well as between high-tech and traditional economic sectors.
