The Agro-Industrial Complex Trade Union Helped an Employee of One of the Gomel Region's Agricultural Enterprises Recover Overtime Pay

An employee of one of the region's agricultural enterprises approached the regional trade union organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Agro-Industrial Complex Workers with a request to verify the correctness of overtime pay calculations.

To study the situation in detail, labor legal inspector Valery Armushevich and inspector for social and economic work Alexey Kalashnikov visited the farm. The trade union specialists conducted a wage calculation monitoring and identified violations of labor legislation regarding the payment of overtime hours.

Based on the inspection results, the trade union representatives issued a recommendation to the enterprise's management to address the violations. The employer responded to the comments and carried out a full recalculation. As a result, the applicant was additionally charged and paid 335.40 rubles.
