Today, the state cultural institution "Kruglyansky Centralized Library System" is far from just a repository of paper books, but a dynamic, modern information and cultural leisure center.

The library network of the district includes 8 libraries, whose services are used by more than 5,500 people, says Olga Tselovalnik, director of the Kruglyansky CBS, and the annual attendance is approaching the impressive mark of 52,000 visits. More than 400 mass events for visitors of all ages are organized and held here every year. Also, Olga Vladimirovna noted that the library system of the district is confidently mastering the digital space. The volume of the institution's electronic catalog has already exceeded 55,000 entries. Thanks to the "Electronic Catalog" tab on the official website, any reader can easily check the availability of the desired book, get acquainted with new arrivals, or study the consolidated catalog of libraries of the Republic of Belarus without leaving home.

The institution is also widely represented in the virtual world. The libraries' communities in social networks have become an effective platform for promoting reading. In an accessible and engaging form, librarians introduce subscribers to book novelties, recommend literature, share interesting facts, and promptly answer readers' questions online. And to attract the attention of a young audience and add a note of kind humor to their work, a creative account was created on the "TikTok" network - the Krugloe Library.

The familiar expression that a library should be a place of strict silence, my interlocutor believes, has long since become a thing of the past. Today, it can be noisy and fun here, because the library has become an open space for creativity, meetings, and self-realization. The forms of work are striking in their diversity: lectures, master classes, literary quests, poetry battles, excursions, and competitions. The April "Biblionight" has already become a traditional and beloved event for the residents of Kruhlaje. This year, its guests were delighted by a bibliotour "When books come alive in the twilight", meetings with interesting residents of our region, a bibliocafe "The world of flowers for women", a karaoke program, and a children's playground.

The librarians do not limit themselves to the walls of their institutions. On the Day of Youth and Students, a bright action "Poems in your pocket" with the distribution of poetic flyers took place in the city. During the summer holidays, children's leisure activities were organized outdoors: on park lawns, in squares, and on cozy city benches.

In addition, the libraries of Kruhlaje are active participants in republican and regional actions ("Cybersecurity Week", "Digital Security Week", "Belarus against tobacco", "Together"). Author's projects are also being successfully implemented: "Meetings with interesting people", "With the Belarusian language into the future", "To know and remember", "The world of hobbies", as well as the virtual project "The story of one photo". A special pride of the institution is its close cooperation with local authors. Librarians regularly organize exhibitions and presentations of the works of their fellow countrymen, publish collections of poems with QR codes, and have created a database "Living voices of poets".

The reading room of the central library has long been transformed into a real picture gallery. In the organized ART space, author's exhibitions-vernissages of local artists and amateur craftsmen are successfully demonstrated: Nina Shuyskaya ("Believe in yourself and live"), Ekaterina Furs ("Her hands create beauty"), Lyudmila Nabokova ("Let's talk a little about the beautiful"), Alla Shevtsova ("Beauty lives everywhere, it's just important to believe in a miracle") and Tamara Chekhovskaya ("Shadewyry of threads and soul"). The institution also actively supports the republican project "Every Friday is a native one" and the all-republican initiative "Healthy cities and towns".

Olga Vladimirovna also added that the Kruhlańskaya library system is successfully developing extrabudgetary activities, focusing on modern requests from the population. Considering consumer demand, the list of paid services is regularly expanding. The service of sublimation printing is particularly popular. It all started with applying images and inscriptions to T-shirts, mugs, photo stones, and puzzles, and in August, the list was supplemented with new items: printing on thermoses, coffee sets, flasks, bottles, mouse pads, and stylish shopper bags. Exclusive handmade postcards in the style of scrapbooking are also in demand.

Not only residents of the native district, but also customers from Mahilioŭ, Babrujsk, Orsha, Bielynichy, Kryčaŭ, Klimavičy, and other parts of Belarus apply to the Kruhlańsk librarians for souvenir products. Despite the rapid development of technology and the internet, the library's main wealth remains not only its book fund and readers but also, of course, the people working in it. The key to the successful activity of the Kruhlańščyna libraries is a cohesive and creative team led by director Olga Celovalnik. According to the leader, the contribution of each of the former and current employees is important and truly valuable in this common cause. We want to wish the team and veterans of the library sphere an inexhaustible inspiration, creativity, and optimism, boldly implementing new ideas and impressing those around them.
