President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 343 on September 30, which approved the target indicators of monetary and credit policy for 2027. The document was adopted to create conditions for sustainable economic growth, reported BELTA in the press service of the head of state.

The list of indicators corresponds to the requirements imposed on the work of the National Bank and the banking system as a whole — promoting economic growth alongside maintaining price and financial stability. The decree sets the following parameters:

  • growth of consumer prices — no more than 6%;
  • international reserve assets — not less than $12.8 billion (the most important indicator of the country's economic security and its financial stability);
  • share of non-performing assets of banks in assets exposed to credit risk — no more than 10% (maintaining such a level will ensure stability of the entire banking system);
  • growth of the volume of investment financing — not less than 13% (to ensure support for investment lending).
