A dialogue platform "Science. Education. Production. Territorial branding, marketing and visual communications in the era of localization" with the participation of Brest region enterprises was held on September 26 in the Belovezhskaya Pushcha National Park, BELTA correspondent reports.
In the national park, at the International Scientific Research Center for Wildlife Studies, the international scientific-practical conference "Zubr 2026: From Species Revival to Territorial Brand" was held on September 25–26. It is part of the "Zubr-fest", which is taking place these days.
Experts, representatives of four Brest region enterprises, and students from three universities took part in the discussion: Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin, Belarusian State University of Foreign Languages, and Polesia State University.
The dialogue platform was divided into four blocks – expert, presentation, practical, and discussion. In the practical part, students presented their projects: textual, visual, and marketing solutions for regional enterprises' products. The organizers noted that the participants' task was to develop advertising texts, packaging concepts, and communication support for goods.
"We came up with a honey gingerbread featuring images from Belovezhskaya Pushcha. It's a souvenir for those who embark on a tasty journey. You can bring it to relatives as a reminder of the region. The second line is a set of pastries depicting animals, plants, fungi, and insects from the Red Book. Many people don't read it, but this way children can learn information about the species. On the box we make notes: what animal it is, why it's in the Red Book. You can add QR codes. This is an interesting experience in linguomarketing," said Alina Vechorco, a philology student at Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin.
"We were invited to participate in Zubr-fest, and we decided to try our hand at linguomarketing. We developed mock
Alexandra Yakubenya, a student of the Faculty of Intercultural Communications at the Belarusian State University of Foreign Languages, presented a concept for souvenir packaging of gingerbread. “The idea came about spontaneously. The lecturer told us about the project, and an image immediately formed in my head. On the box are depicted the gates of Belovezhskaya Pushcha, and inside – the national park with its animals and forest,” she described her idea.
Students of the Engineering Faculty of Polesie State University prepared concepts for advertising projects for two regional enterprises. “We came up with two products with special names – stewed meat ‘Poleskaya’ and cheese ‘Parmesan Polesky’. The team consisted of six people. We made brochures, calendars, developed packaging design, and two advertising video clips. We are actively interested in the activities of local producers and want to offer them our ideas,” said Angelina Shemerey, a student of the Engineering Faculty of Polesie State University.
Participants noted that such meetings help students gain real experience interacting with enterprises, and businesses get to see fresh ideas from the youth.
