The opening took place at the Rumyantsev and Paskevich Palace. The forum was initiated by the United Organization of the Belarusian Women's Union of Belagroprombank OJSC, together with the Gomel Regional Association and the Moscow Regional Organization of the Union of Women of Russia.

The focus of the two-day meeting is the role of women in the development of creative industries and small business, support for startups, preservation of historical memory, patriotic education of young people, and new formats of cooperation between the regions of Belarus and the Moscow region.

This year, the event was also dedicated to two significant dates: the 35th anniversary of the Belarusian Women's Union and the 85th anniversary of the Union of Women of Russia. The solid foundation of the forum was laid by the Cooperation Agreement, which was signed on April 5, 2024, in Krasnogorsk by the United Organization of the Belarusian Women's Union of Belagroprombank OJSC and the Moscow Regional Branch of the Union of Women of Russia. The fundamental principles of the Treaty on the Creation of the Union State and the common aspiration of the peoples to find effective responses to socio-economic and humanitarian challenges became its foundation.

Yulia Yasinskaya, Deputy Chairwoman of the Belarusian Women's Union and Deputy Chairwoman of the Board of Belagroprombank OJSC, shared the prospects and results of cooperation between the women's organizations of the two sister countries:

– We have a great many joint projects. The very first one is the “Banner of Memory”. Last year, representatives of the Belarusian Women's Union marched with a large scarlet banner bearing the names of people who fought for the freedom of our homeland during the Great Patriotic War. The second major project was “Super Grandmother”. Its final stage will take place in November. At the end of the year, the “Cheese Flavor” contest will conclude.

According to Lyudmila Sapego, Chair of the regional organization of the Belarusian Union of Women, over the years of the public association's existence, joint meetings and events have become excellent platforms for exchanging experience, growing into significant projects of the Union State to support motherhood, family values, and social protection.

On the first day, the forum participants discussed experience in implementing socio-economic programs, summed up the discussion, and signed a Cooperation Agreement.

The second day's agenda includes laying flowers at the Eternal Flame on Labor Square, a meeting with the women's activists of the regional organization, discussing the implementation of ideas into concrete mechanisms through legislative and administrative decisions, and a visit to OJSC Gomel Production Association Kristall.
