Enjoying the beauty of the endless expanses of the grain wedge at UP «Molodovo-Agro» was possible until July 29 – that was the last day of the grain harvest at the farm in 2026. Not only on the scale of the first region, but throughout the country, the enterprise is firmly associated with record milk production figures.

In UP "Moldavo-Agro", responsibility for the preservation of strategic reserves — grains, seeds, feed additives — rests with the head of the central warehouse, Olga Vyurich. At the grain warehouse, her professional path has been clearly defined, as she worked there during summer vacation while still a schoolgirl. She spent every penny wisely, assisting her father and mother, who at that time worked on the farm. Perhaps one of the four children of the Vyurich couple will also repeat their parents' fate once they reach an age suitable for employment. "They may decide for themselves what to become, but I have instilled a love of physical labor in them since childhood. Work back then and today at the grain warehouse is different. When I was here, many operations were carried out by hand. Now working has become much easier," — said Olga.

The Vyurich family enterprise has been operating in UP "Moldavo-Agro" for a long time. After completing studies at the Likhovich Agricultural College, Olga Mikhailovna worked as a weigher, then as an agronomist-seed breeder, and since September last year she holds her current position. Her husband is a tractor operator-mechanic. During the harvest campaign, her brother Ivan joins the family team to deliver grain from the fields.

A portion of the grain required only cleaning. That which had moisture content of 16 percent or higher underwent drying. Grain harvesting in the household concluded on July 29, but already on August 2 all the grain was stored. Shortly thereafter, seed soaking began, followed by preparation for winter sowing of crops. The work at the grain warehouse never ends — says Olga Mikhailovna.

To prevent grain loss, one must properly observe the technology during grain processing, and also correctly prepare the warehouses for storage, monitor the condition of premises — grain storages and the mineral fertilizer store. There is carried out the entire front of necessary work: bleaching, cleaning, disinfection, repairs. However, time imposes new requirements. In particular, the farm management does not hide its intention to modernize the grain storage system, which undoubtedly will be another step toward a secure future for UP "Moldavo-Agro".
