These figures were announced at the press conference “Economic Shield of the Country: Reliable Protection and New Frontiers of the Customs Service,” dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Belarusian customs service.

• 9 tonnes of drugs and psychotropics were intercepted and removed from circulation over the past five years.
• Historical record: In 2025, the largest international shipment in the country’s history was eliminated — the import of 1.3 tonnes of prohibited substances was intercepted.
• Explosives stopped: In the same year, 2025, an attempt to import 580 kg of the most powerful explosive TENS was foiled.
• Hard barrier: At the border, grey imports, counterfeit goods, as well as illegal imports of drones (UAVs) and cars are actively intercepted.
