Starting October 1, the rules for registration in the electronic queue at the border are changing, BELTA was informed by RUE "Beltamozhservice."

"The amendments to the public offer for the provision of services for registration in the electronic queue system (EQS) and to the procedure for registration in the EQS are coming into force. The innovations concern individuals who are customers of the service. The main change is a limitation on the term of the contract. From now on, it will be 30 calendar days from the date of payment," the company said.

During this period, the service customer must take one of the following actions: present the vehicle specified in the payment system at the time of payment in the waiting area; complete in full the procedure for online registration of the vehicle through the personal account for online registrations in the EQS; apply to Beltamozhservice with a request for a refund in the established procedure before the expiration of the contract.

"A refund request can be submitted within 30 calendar days from the moment of payment for the service. The refund procedure is regulated by paragraph 18 of the registration rules. The updated version of the document comes into force on October 1 and will be posted on the official website," the company explained.

In certain cases, the registration service is considered to have been rendered and is subject to payment, and the funds are not refundable to the customer. These include the impossibility of fulfilling the offer (contract) arising through the fault of the customer and the expiration of the contract; the customer's refusal of the service after the registration of the vehicle and the expiration of the contract; the cancellation of the registration (revocation of registration) of the vehicle after the untimely entry/exit of the vehicle from the waiting area; the untimely arrival of the vehicle at the checkpoint from the waiting area and the expiration of the contract.
