Starting October 1, 2026, changes to the operation of the M-Belarusbank mobile application come into force. The bank emphasizes that clients can take advantage of a number of alternative solutions, thanks to which the updates will not affect the quality of service. All details and nuances were explained by Vadim Simaga, director of Banking Services Center No. 725 of OJSC ASB Belarusbank in the city of Chausy.

Changes in the provision of service packages

From the specified date, the M-Belarusbank application will no longer provide the 'Full' and 'Basic' service packages free of charge for the following card products: Club 'Persona', Club 'Lady', Men's Club, Easy Card (including for students and pupils), #mozhnovse, Club 'Zebra', Shchodraya, Lime.

At the same time, the bank draws attention to the fact that in the Belarusbank online bank, a completely free push notification service for completed transactions is already available for the listed products. Clients are invited to review the list of cards for which various types of notifications are provided.

Available types of push notifications:

• Push notifications for credit and debit transactions — for cards: 'Lady', 'Persona', 'Zebra', 'Men's Club', 'Easy Card', #mozhnovse, 'Shchodraya' and Lime.
• Push notifications only for debit transactions — for cards: 'Carte Blanche', #nastart, 'Velvet', 'Svoi', 'Pupil Card', Student Card.

Procedure for connecting push notifications

Push notifications are connected by the client independently in the Belarusbank online bank. To do this, you need to:

1. In the 'Products' section, open the 'Cards' tab and select the desired card.
2. On the card page, click the settings icon in the upper right corner and go to the 'Card Management' section.
3. Select 'Notifications', click 'Connect', then select the PUSH type and confirm the action.

Once confirmation is received, push notifications are activated automatically.

The 'Velvet' card: notifications remain

The bank separately emphasizes that holders of the 'Velvet' card should not worry: notifications about transactions on their cards remain and do not become paid. As before, clients will receive free SMS notifications about credit and debit transactions. If desired, they can additionally connect free push notifications about debit transactions in the Belarusbank online bank.

Using other people's cards in the application

Starting October 1, 2026, adding cards belonging to other people, including close relatives, will be unavailable in the M-Belarusbank application.

If someone else's cards have already been added to the app, they must be removed: "Cards" → select the card → "Settings" → "Delete card".

If cards belonging to different owners remain in the app after October 1, previously paid packages will continue to be valid until their expiration date, but their further activation will be restricted.

How to keep the ability to help loved ones

For continued convenient transactions on relatives' accounts, the bank suggests issuing an additional card to their account, but in your name. To do this, the account holder needs to visit a bank branch with their passport and your passport details. The finished card can be picked up by either the account holder or the person in whose name it was issued.

Family relationship is not a mandatory condition for issuing an additional card, except for cases of issuing cards in the name of minors.

In summary, the bank reported that both services — the M-Belarusbank mobile app and the Belarusbank online bank — will continue to operate as normal.
