The International Digital Agriculture Olympiad “SmartAgro‑2026” will take place from November 3–5 at the Belarus State Agricultural Academy (BSAA). BELTA was informed of this by the BSAA press office.
Fourteen student teams from Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan will participate in the intellectual competition. The Olympiad aims to develop the professional competencies of future specialists in the agricultural and engineering sectors. Participants will be required to demonstrate their knowledge of modern precision‑agriculture technologies and innovative solutions for the agro‑industrial complex.
“SmartAgro” is being held for the second consecutive year. The event brings together engineering and agricultural university students interested in mastering cutting‑edge technologies. A key goal of the project is to strengthen collaboration between industrial enterprises and higher‑education institutions of the Union state, as well as to train highly qualified personnel.
Within the program, participants will be able to exchange experiences and become acquainted with promising directions in the digitalization of agriculture. The event is intended to strengthen ties between education, science, and industry.
The organizers are BSAA, the Union of Industrialists “Progress”, and LLC “Agricultural Technologies”. The partners of this year’s Olympiad are the companies “DroneService” and “Company Tri V”.
