A plenary session of the VIII Investment Forum "Mogilev District — Territory of Opportunities" was held at the Royal Park Hotel.

Representatives of the executive power, the Mogilev Free Economic Zone, the banking sector, the technology park, heads of enterprises of various forms of ownership, and representatives from Russian regions gathered to discuss topical issues for the business community, the development prospects of the Mogilev district, options for constructive interaction, and other important topics.

The plenary session began with a welcome address by the Chairman of the Mogilev District Executive Committee, Dmitry Mudrogelov, who spoke about the economic potential of the Mogilev district.

The head of the district presented data on the history of the forum, spoke about its results, and also about the prospects it opens up for all its participants.

The Chairman of the District Executive Committee noted that the forum has become a genuine platform for communication, for the development of any initiatives and new ideas.

Dmitry Mudrogelov once again emphasized that all conditions have been created in the district for the establishment and development of new enterprises, which is confirmed by the fact that private business in the district covers practically all spheres of the economy.

Representatives of the Russian Federation spoke about the prospects for interaction with the Mogilev district. Thus, the head of the Russian Embassy's consular section in Mogilev, Vladislav Deinego, talked about the importance of establishing relations at the regional level. And the head of the Pskov Municipal District, Natalia Fedorova, spoke about the investment potential of the Pskov region.

Other issues discussed at the plenary session included:

• the investment climate and opportunities for investing in the Republic of Belarus;
• support for small and medium-sized enterprises under the State Program "Sustainable Entrepreneurship" for 2026-2030;
• support for nationally-oriented owners whose business is based on the use of knowledge and innovations; — the advantages of implementing investment projects in the Mogilev district, using the work of the Mogilev Free Economic Zone as an example.

After discussing all the planned issues, an agreement on cooperation was signed. The following were signed:

— a protocol of intent to implement an investment project for the reconstruction of a poultry slaughterhouse building with the acquisition of technological equipment, by the agricultural enterprise "Poultry Farm 'Elets'" in the village of Lykovo,

— Memorandum of intent on the implementation of an investment project for the reconstruction of poultry house buildings of the agricultural enterprise "Poultry Farm 'Yelets'" in the village of Lyukovo, — Memorandum of intent on the implementation of an investment project for the expansion of the existing production of LLC "Bair West", — Memorandum of intent on the implementation of an investment project for the expansion of the existing production of metal structures of LLC "Krinteks", — Memorandum of intent on the implementation of an investment project for the expansion and modernization of production of LLC "UniAqua", — Memorandum of intent on cooperation with JSC "Technological Park 'Mogilev'" in supporting innovative enterprises of Mogilev District.
