October 15, as part of World Breast Cancer Awareness Day, a conference titled "Year of the Belarusian Woman: Business, Leadership, Health" was held based at CBU No. 624 OOO "Belagroprombank" (the Igrow Center). The event brought together successful women entrepreneurs, experts, and leaders to remind everyone that the greatest investment in any success is taking care of one's own health.
As noted in the welcoming address, 2026 has been declared the Year of the Belarusian Woman in Belarus — a tribute to the beautiful half of humanity that forms the basis of our lives. Businesswomen are accustomed to calculating risks, managing finances, drafting business plans, and protecting their enterprises. But how often do they conduct an audit of their own health?
— We know how to count money, build strategies, and protect our businesses, but how often do we treat our bodies with the same attention as our investments? — this was heard at the opening of the conference. — This year reminds us: caring for oneself is not egoism, but responsibility and strategic decision-making that allows us to live, work, and love.
Irina Yereymova, chief specialist of Belagroprombank's Ecosystem Development Department, spoke about the importance of supporting female entrepreneurs:
— As employees of Belagroprombank, which understands as a socially oriented bank how important it is to support a woman in all directions. Today our bank is not just a financial institution, but a living ecosystem uniting entrepreneurs and experts. Our Igrow Center regularly holds events on various topics, including those dedicated to health.
We decided to hold this meeting with specialists so that women entrepreneurs could set aside at least an hour of time, put off business and household chores, and think about themselves.
During the conference, leading practicing specialists were invited: oncologist Elena Borisova, head of the Radiology Department of Bobruysk Oncological Dispensary; gynecologist Alexandra Chernikha, women's consultation #3; and psychologist Anna Prilishch, Bobruisk District Social Services Center.
The experts provided detailed information about breast cancer prevention, modern methods of early diagnosis, the importance of regular examinations, and psychological support for women.
