JSC "Savushkin Product" has become the winner of the auction for the sale of the property complex of JSC "Polotsk Dairy Plant." The Brest-based enterprise turned out to be the only participant in the tender and acquired the plant for 32,593,000 rubles, "Vitbichi" reports.

The tender was conducted on August 31 on the platform of KKUP "Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center." The only participant was JSC "Savushkin Product," which acquired the property complex of the Polotsk Dairy Plant.

The sale of the enterprise is provided for by the liquidation plan for the Polotsk Dairy Plant, previously declared bankrupt by decision of the Economic Court of the Vitebsk Region.

As Sergey Zarovkin, a representative of the crisis manager and director of LLC "Crisis Management Strategy," told "Vitbichi," the proceeds from the sale will be directed toward settlements on priority payments and the repayment of debts included in the register of creditors' claims.

According to the terms of the tender, the winner must pay for the acquired property complex within 30 calendar days from the date of signing the purchase and sale agreement.

The new owner will preserve production and create 400 jobs

The price offer from "Savushkin Product" exceeded the initial cost of the lot by almost 526 rubles.

At the same time, the new owner assumed a number of obligations. In particular, for at least five years, the enterprise must maintain the designated purpose of the facility as a food processing industry enterprise.

In addition, "Savushkin Product" undertakes to create at least 400 new jobs in the region and attract at least 50 million rubles in investments within five years after the auction.

The winner will be required to report quarterly to the Polotsk District Executive Committee on fulfillment of the tender conditions — no later than the 15th day of the month following the reporting period.

What was included in the purchased property complex

A total of 200 items of property from the Polotsk Dairy Plant were included in the lot.

The main part is production real estate and equipment at the enterprise's main site in Polotsk. In addition, the buyer received rights to two trademarks — the "Mi-Shu" panda and the "Mi-Shu" heart.

The Vitebsk site of the plant will also be put up for auction

The creditors' committee of JSC "Polotsk Dairy Plant" has already approved the composition of the property complex located at the production site in Vitebsk.

The next stage will be an independent property appraisal. Once it is completed, the Vitebsk site is also planned to be put up for auction.

Currently, some of the premises at this site are leased by IOOO "Goretsky Food Combine."
