Smart-watch series Huawei Watch Kids X1: Care for the Upcoming Generation
A new lineup of Huawei children's smartwatches includes two models: the base Huawei Watch Kids X1 and the advanced Huawei Watch Kids X1 Pro. Both feature a futuristic design, a large 1.82-inch AMOLED screen, and two cameras: a main camera and a front-facing camera. The watches have a foldable design that can be rotated 360 degrees, which simplifies photography and enables finding new usage formats for the device.
The main camera has 13 MP resolution, night mode, and 4x zoom. The front camera is 5 MP equipped with an ultra-wide lens with a 110-degree field of view. To create memorable images, young users have access to six shooting modes, over 100 special effects, and 14 filters. High-resolution video recording is supported.
The Huawei Watch Kids X Pro features a detachable design: the watch can be removed from the band and inserted into a special case with a cord that comes in the package. In this way, the device becomes a portable camera. This model also received a glossy metallic back with a durable hard coating.
For child safety, a wide range of functions is provided: call control with creation of an approved contacts list, location tracking, safe zone settings, and a "School Visit" function. Geolocation works both outdoors thanks to support for five satellite systems (GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS), as well as indoors through Wi-Fi, A-GPS, and accelerometer data. An SOS function is also provided, activated by pressing the side button five times.
The watch can be used to make calls, after first installing the SIM card. Mobile communication is supported in 2G/3G/4G bands, and high-quality video calling is available. Parents can also track their child's pulse and emotional state through a dedicated application.
