Belarus is among the leaders of the Eurasian Economic Union in terms of wage growth. This is evidenced by statistical data from the Eurasian Economic Commission.

Average monthly nominal wages grew in all EAEU states in January-June 2026. Above all, the highest growth rates were recorded in Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, and Russia. The indicators are adjusted for the consumer price index.

In terms of wage growth, Belarus posted a result of 113.2%. Thus, the country trailed only Kyrgyzstan with 127.5%. In Russia, the figure was 112.7%. In addition, Kazakhstan recorded 100.3%, and Armenia 105.5%.

Ranking by absolute indicators

In terms of average monthly salary in dollar equivalent, Belarus took second place. In January-June 2025, the figure was $1,026. Russia leads with $1,431.

The earnings of the remaining EAEU countries were less than $1,000. In Kazakhstan it reached $988. In Armenia it was $830, and in Kyrgyzstan $615.

Real household incomes

Real wage growth rates in January-June 2026 were distributed as follows. In Kyrgyzstan, the indicator reached 115.3%. Belarus posted 107.5%, Russia 106.5%.

In Armenia, growth was 100.9%. Kazakhstan recorded 99.4%. The indicators are adjusted for the consumer price index for goods and services.

Inflation under control

In June, Belarus recorded one of the lowest consumer price growth indices in the EAEU. The indicator relative to December 2025 was 103.2%. However, the minimum value is in Armenia at 101.7%. In Russia, the index reached 104.8%, in Kazakhstan 105.7%, and in Kyrgyzstan 106.7%.
