On September 29, a seminar on safe loading and unloading operations was held at the Cherikov Forestry Enterprise. The event was attended by Alexander Buy, head of the occupational safety department of the state unitary enterprise 'Belgipriles', and Igor Zhilich, head of the occupational safety and transport safety bureau of the Mogilev State Forestry Enterprise.

The focus of the participants was on working with equipment and loads — a high-risk area where any mistake can lead to serious consequences.

At the seminar, they examined in detail the accidents that had occurred in forestry enterprises of the Mogilev region. Igor Zhilich analyzed specific situations that had caused injuries and indicated how these incidents could have been prevented.

Alexander Buy elaborated on the technical aspects of safety: he spoke about the proper organization of loading and unloading operations, the signaling system, safety zones, and also about the actions that need to be taken in emergency situations.

The event served as an important platform for exchanging experience and raising the level of occupational safety in the forestry sector.
