The forest park area near Bobruisk Central Hospital is a favorite spot for local residents to stroll. Here one can leisurely walk a dog or go for a morning or evening run. However, the autumn weather has altered the appearance of the area: wind and heavy precipitation have toppled trees, dense foliage has covered the ground, and fallen branches have blocked the path. To allow Bobruisk residents to continue spending time here, municipal enterprises and city work crews have joined forces to improve the area and restore order.
About 30 people worked on the site. They were assisted by specialized equipment, dump trucks, a mobile crane, and a crushing unit. All of this was to quickly and efficiently remove brushwood, haul away the debris, and restore the area to a tidy and safe appearance.
The general director of the State Enterprise “Bobruiskzhilkomkhoz,” Alexander Shostak, explained how the work was organized:
– Today, on the section from Gagarin Street to the SOK “Shinnik,” we have scheduled work to clear brushwood and remove fallen timber. Along the roadway to the sanatorium and the lake, we will clear fallen, rotting, and standing dead trees. Here work is carried out by representatives of the State Enterprise “Bobruiskzhilkomkhoz,” the KUP “DEP of Bobruisk,” the KUP “JREU of the First May District of Bobruisk,” the KUP “JREU of the Lenin District of Bobruisk,” the branch of “Bobruisk Electric Networks,” the RUP “Mogilevenergo,” the KUP “Thermoelectricity of Bobruisk,” and the equipment of “Bobruisk Electric Networks” is involved. We will carry out the necessary works for improvement and orderliness, – said Alexander Shostak. – When we all come together, we benefit the city: we make it cleaner, better, and more beautiful.
