This year, 242 professionals competed for the title of strongest. An exhibition titled "PROFCAW 2026" took place in Minsk – the main event of Belarus' welding industry. The central venue of the forum was traditionally the 22nd Welders' Competition, which brought together 242 of the country's best masters. Representatives from BELSTROYCENTER-HOLDING demonstrated a high level of professional training, and welders from the Grodno-based JSC "SOYUZPROMONTAZH" won three prize places at once.
The exhibition "PROFCAW 2026" has once again become an attraction point for professionals, for whom metal is not just material but a space of precision and mastery. By tradition, the main event of the forum was the Belarus Welders' Competition – a prestigious competition where specialists demonstrate not only technical skills but also endurance and the ability to work without error.
This year, 242 professionals fought for the title of strongest. Competitors competed in four categories depending on the chosen welding method. Reaching such a platform requires serious preparation: each seam becomes the result of jewel-like accuracy, years of experience, and the ability to show maximum effort when colleagues and the jury watch closely every movement.
Let us note that third-place participants this year consisted of specialists aged under 25. For young welders, the competition became not only a test of their own strength but also a real school of professional mastery. Here one can gain experience from senior colleagues, learn the secrets of the trade, and see how true professionalism is born.
A large delegation from BELSTROYCENTER-HOLDING presented four leading enterprises: JSC "SOYUZPROMONTAZH", JSC "PROMTECHMONTAZH", JSC "STR No. 8", and JSC "SMT No. 19". Their representatives proudly defended the honor of the holding company and demonstrated a high level of work with metal.
The most successful competition was for the Grodno-based JSC "SOYUZPROMONTAZH". The enterprise's representatives won three prize places:
Such a result is not merely personal success for the competitors. It is convincing evidence of the high level of personnel training, generational continuity, and the power of the professional school formed at the enterprise.
Nikolai Smolyannov, the winner of the "Young Welder" category, shared his impressions of participation:
– This year I came to the enterprise through distribution after graduating from the Grodno State College of Construction Technologies and immediately decided to test my abilities in practice. I am very pleased with the result. To be honest, I didn’t think I would take first place, especially given the enormous competition among all participants. But this victory strongly motivates me to continue striving for better results at work, – said the young man.
"PROFSVARKA 2026" once again showed: the future of the industry belongs to professionals who combine precision, responsibility, and a drive for constant growth. And such victories become a solid foundation for the development of enterprises and the prestige of working professions.
