Andrei Lobovich, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus, paid a working visit to Bobruisk. The head of the ministry familiarized himself in detail with the work and products of the Bobruisk branch of the Svetopribor Unitary Enterprise of the BelTIZ Public Association.

In the production workshops, the minister talked with employees and assessed the organization of work at workplaces. The enterprise produces in-demand products under the Bylectrica brand, which are used for lighting in homes, offices, and outdoors. The team takes pride in high-quality and reliable electrical goods: they manufacture sockets, switches, extension cords, lighting devices and luminaires of various types, electrical connectors for connecting equipment, and more. Andrei Lobovich was shown the full production cycle of products that are in demand in Belarus and exported to Russia and Kazakhstan.

The modernization of the enterprise makes it possible to use resources efficiently and reach a higher level of production. New equipment for an automated painting line is in operation, and the molding shop has established the production of plastic parts.

The Bobruisk branch employs 85 people, 55 of whom are visually impaired. During the visit, the minister's attention was focused not only on economic indicators, social support, and production issues, but also on creating a favorable psychological climate in the team.

We work very closely with the public association of disabled people and clearly understand the state's responsibility to provide comfortable opportunities for our citizens who cannot compete in the labor market to work," noted Andrei Lobovich. "The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection pays attention to creating new jobs for disabled people, modernization, wage levels, and the social package at enterprises. 'Svetopribor' is a famous enterprise not only in our republic but also across the CIS. Today, at the Bobruisk branch, I reviewed the working conditions for visually impaired people and the implementation of the equipment modernization plans that were announced.

"Our main work is the labor rehabilitation of visually impaired people, and that is what we strive for," emphasized the director of Svetopribor, Pavel Stepanovich. "We have set ourselves the task of modernizing the Bobruisk branch during 2025-2026. One of the goals is import substitution. We used to outsource some of our technological operations, including abroad, so today we have installed new equipment that will allow us to do this ourselves. These are new competencies. The Bobruisk branch produces about 10% of the total turnover of Svetopribor; in total, we have 5 branches across the country. Separately, I want to say a huge thank you to our people. The workers, technical services, and the head of the Bobruisk branch – well done, they do their job well!"

The branch's specialists demonstrated both production activities and musical abilities on stage. The folklore ensemble performed Belarusian songs for the guests, earning sincere praise from the minister for their display of talent and for involving young people in creative work.
