Relay of Unity: In Gorki, a New Art Object was Unveiled and an Alley was Planted for National Unity Day

On September 15, the square in front of the Krynica cinema gathered district and enterprise management, veterans, youth, representatives of labor collectives and public organizations, as well as the heads of eleven enterprises of the Autocomponents holding. The main event of the day was the opening of a new art object in honor of the Day of People's Unity. Nikolai Orlyonok, chairman of the district executive committee, addressed the gathering.

The holiday became a day of well-deserved awards for many workers of "Prema". The Certificate of Honor of OJSC "BATE" for many years of conscientious work, significant personal contribution to solving the tasks facing the industrial sector, high professionalism and exemplary performance of official duties was awarded to:

  • director of the enterprise Konstantin Tveritin
  • turner, 5th grade, of the repair and mechanical section Vladimir Volkov
  • master of the main production section Alexander Yeltsov
  • repair fitter, 6th grade, Nikolai Polozkov
  • repair fitter, 3rd grade, Dmitri Chudikov
  • assembler of electrical machines and apparatus, 3rd grade, of the main production section Natalya Shkurbalova.

Their professionalism and dedication to work have become a source of pride for the enterprise and a significant contribution to the common cause of the holding.

New symbol of the city

The culmination of the event was the opening of the art object "People's Unity – the Guarantee of the Country's Prosperity".

– May this object become a symbol of unity, cohesion and mutual understanding, a symbol of our shared responsibility for the country's future. May it inspire us to new achievements for the prosperity of Belarus, – was heard from the stage.

At the final moment of the celebration dedicated to the Day of People's Unity, the holiday guests, together with the district leadership, laid the "Alley of Unity". Each planted tree became part of the history of Gorki and a living reminder that we are all one people.
