Reconstruction of the power grid is underway near the roundabout intersection of Bannaya and Ukrainskaya Streets.

As noted by Maxim Lazben, Deputy Director for Capital Construction of the Gomel Electric Networks branch of RUP Gomelenergo:

— Currently, the project "Construction of 0.4–6 kV power lines for supplying residential buildings on Ukrainskaya and Bannaya Streets" is being implemented. The project envisages the construction of two cable lines of 6 kV and 0.4 kV, installation of a prefabricated kiosk-type transformer substation. Also planned is the construction of a new overhead line with insulated conductors and connections to residential houses in this area, which will, in turn, improve the reliability of power supply for our citizens.

The work is being carried out without affecting the roadway. The traffic scheme on this section will remain unchanged.
