As director Yury Kuksenkov of the farmhouse reported, today "Lohva" is a fish holding company that includes the fish farm "Paluzh." Fish production has grown fivefold, which required expanding processing capacity.

— In 2027, when we reach full capacity, we will produce 2,500 tons of fish. Therefore, production was increased so that such quantities could be processed. We will produce chilled fish at the Paluzh fish farm, and here — finished products — noted the director.

According to him, fish weighing about 1 kg is in highest demand — it suits the average Belarusian family. Larger individuals (from 1.5 kg) are sent for processing.

In the renovated workshop, the following will appear:

• new smoking ovens
• equipment for producing caviar
• equipment for dried fish
• equipment for salted fish
• equipment for pickled fish

As production site head Natalia Sivakova reported, the site has been operating since 2014, but much has changed there over this time.

— Now there is a smoking oven, equipment for caviar and pickled products. We produce smoked and salted fish. We supply all regions of Belarus with our products. We work on orders — we do not work at the warehouse, the product goes out immediately — noted Natalia Sivakova.

With the new equipment, the enterprise can produce more than 1 ton of finished products per day. Distinctive qualities of domestic pike-perch:

• strict quality control
• research on 15 laboratory indicators
• production exclusively from chilled fish

— 22,000 tons of pike-perch are imported into Belarus per year. And therefore we do not plan to stand still, because there is room to grow.
