It was established that in the acts of completed works for the construction of two district facilities, the contractor included and claimed payment from the budget for a number of unperformed works related to the installation of concrete pavement for driveways and yards. Additionally, unused construction materials and materials with overstated costs were also claimed for payment, reports the Telegram channel "Committee of State Control of Belarus". For example, by order of the chief engineer of the construction organization, when constructing the paved areas, instead of the expensive mixture of brick crumb and ceramic granules specified in the project, ordinary crushed stone was actually used, which was 190 times cheaper. Following the inspection, the contractor returned over 50,000 rubles of illegally obtained funds to the budget. A criminal case has been opened against the chief engineer of the construction organization. The inspection is ongoing.
