Brest customs officers stopped a DAF truck at the Kozlovichi checkpoint. The documents stated that it was carrying industrial and household chemicals. However, during inspection it turned out that among the declared cargo there were also 250 auto parts worth 385,000 rubles hidden.

In this way, the Polish carrier tried to save about 90,000 rubles on customs payments, the customs authorities reported.

An administrative process has been initiated against the carrier under Article 15.5 of the Administrative Code. The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to 30% of the value of the subject of the administrative offense. The damage to the state in the form of unpaid customs payments will also have to be compensated.
