Pakistan is interested in cooperation with Belarus in the field of high medical technologies, transplantology, scientific research and preparation of specialists. This was stated by Affan Vakhid during his visit to the Minsk Scientific-Practical Center for Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology, who presented to BelTA.

"More than 90 percent response rate to treatment with resistant forms of diseases," said Anatoly Us, noting that the figures are comparable to existing international studies. According to his words, the corresponding results of Belarusian specialists were presented at international scientific events.

The importance of domestic production of cell-based preparations was also emphasized. Specialists stated that using academic products manufactured not directly within a scientific-medical institution enables a significant reduction in therapy costs when compared to commercial analogs.

Afan Vakhid raised this point: "The embassy will serve as an example to make all efforts to transform the delayed visit schedule into concrete, practically significant Partner projects in the health sector."

Prospective opportunities were also identified for joint scientific programs in the fields of transplantology, hematology and cellular technologies, specialist exchanges, and the implementation of educational projects.
