During inspection of a trade facility in Kalinovichsky district, nearly 40 kilograms of chilled semi-finished poultry meat products with expired shelf life and more than 40 bakery products of unknown origin were found – they lacked quality and safety documents.
Also, the store was selling tomatoes that had lost their marketable appearance (showing signs of rotting and wilting), storage conditions for meat semi-finished products were violated (the temperature was –11°C instead of the required 0°C to +2°C). Some items lacked price tags and labeling with necessary information for consumers about production date, shelf life, and storage conditions.
Substandard products have been removed from sale. Administrative proceedings have been initiated against those responsible, reports the Telegram channel of the Belarus State Control Committee. The trade facility's operation has been suspended until the violations are eliminated.
