More than 440 children of employees of housing and communal services and service sector organizations in Mogilev Region rested in summer camps thanks to material assistance from the trade union. This was reported to BELTA by the Mogilev Regional Trade Union Association.

This year, 448 children whose parents work at enterprises united by the Belarusian Trade Union of Housing and Communal Services and Service Sector Workers received support for summer health improvement. For this purpose, the regional trade union organization, primary trade union organizations, and employers allocated more than 120,000 rubles.

As noted by Pavel Zhuykov, chairman of the regional trade union organization, the number of children covered by the health campaign has increased compared with last year. "This summer, 55 more children, or 14%, underwent health improvement compared with the previous year. Moreover, we are talking only about suburban health and education camps with round-the-clock stay. Many more children attended school-based health and education camps with daytime stay," he said.

The volume of financing also increased. According to Pavel Zhuykov, trade union organizations and employers allocated 26% and 24% more funds, respectively, to reduce the cost of vouchers. In addition to organizing recreation in camps, several primary trade union organizations, together with employers, organized excursion events for the children of trade union members.
