He knows his job well, has strongly attached himself to it and to his team, native enterprise, and workshop, believing he is in his rightful place. Notably, this has been the case for 31 years. Vitaly Malevich is a fifth-grade machine operator in the woodworking shop of the Glusk forestry enterprise, one of the most experienced production workers. Recently, Vitaly Vladimirovich was awarded the breast badge "90 years of forestry in the Republic of Belarus" for his dedication to his profession. The general director of the Mogilev State Forestry Association, Vladimir Siroten, presented this commemorative award to him at his workplace.
Vitaly Malevich is originally from Zapolye. Our hero entered the forestry industry back in 1991, starting as a mechanic for equipment repair. "At that time, I had a tractor driver's license and a driver's license," Vitaly Vladimirovich recounts, "I had a desire to work, learn something new, and be useful. There was also an example to follow: my grandfather worked as a forester. After a year and a half, I transferred to the woodworking shop as a machine operator. For a while, I left to work at the Gluskdrev furniture factory, but soon returned to the shop. I gained experience, mastered different operations and lines, and upgraded my skills and rank. Now I work on the Wood-Mizer line, where each member of the team has their own workstation and task. My responsibility is to process gorbyl into chips on the machine. Our team is friendly and cohesive, we help each other in everything, and work together towards a common goal."
Vitaly Malevich has also grown accustomed to his work schedule: two days of work (from 8 am to 9 pm) and two days off. He spends his free time in the forest, and collecting mushrooms or berries can be considered his favorite hobby. Sometimes he may also go fishing, although he does not consider himself an avid fisherman.
Vitaly Vladimirovich lives in his own house in Zapolye, has a garden, and also has a subsidiary farm where he raises pigs. This is also a constant and labor-intensive effort. However, as they say, our hero does not lack diligence.

Deputy Director of Glusk forestry enterprise Anna Russu:
The badge “90 Years of Forestry in the Republic of Belarus” was established by order of the Ministry of Forestry. It is awarded to those who have made a special contribution to the development of the forestry sector: honorary foresters, veterans, workers who have achieved the greatest successes and have devoted 20 or more years to their beloved work. Vitaliy Malevich fully deserved this award. He can rightly be called a true professional in his field, an example of diligence and loyalty to his native enterprise.
