Belarusian Railway renews its freight wagon fleet

The Belarusian Railway is renewing its freight wagon fleet, BelTA was informed by the BC press center.

Over the 8 months of 2026, 43 flatcar wagons manufactured by the Osipovichi Transport Engineering Plant have been delivered to the railway. The purchase of 42 more flatcar wagons and 15 covered wagons is also planned. They are expected to be delivered to BC by the end of the current year.

In total, the Belarusian Railway's wagon fleet will be replenished with 100 new wagons. This rolling stock is in demand among shippers for the transportation of a wide range of goods, such as construction materials, agricultural machinery, paper industry products, food products, and consolidated cargo.
