The main goal of the annual event is to train citizens in action algorithms in case of fires and other emergency situations at public facilities, as well as to develop practical skills in providing first aid.

The key role in organizing and directly conducting the training events is assigned to the heads of enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership. They are the main implementers of the Unified Safety Day on site and are obliged to organize both theoretical and practical training for their subordinates.

On this day, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will visit a number of organizations and educational institutions to provide advisory assistance and monitor the conduct of practical evacuation drills for people from buildings.

As part of inter-agency cooperation between the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, and the Belarusian Red Cross Society, 139 thematic training sites will be deployed across all regions of the country in places of mass gathering. There, citizens who are not at their workplaces will be able to practice cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills on mannequin trainers, learn about crowd behavior rules, and learn how to minimize the risk of injury during fires.

For the convenience of managers and the public, a special section operates on the official website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, where audio and video materials, memos, and visual-and-graphic products for work teams are available. There is also an interactive map showing the exact locations of all regional thematic training sites.

In the city of Zhlobin, on Liberators Square, on September 24 from 14:00 to 16:00, a large-scale event will take place. An exhibition of special equipment and a demonstration of the equipment and capabilities of various services will be organized.

At the interactive training sites, all participants will be able to take part in first-aid master classes, test their knowledge of fire and electrical safety rules, as well as water safety rules.
