Title: On Changes in the Marking of Dairy Products On August 31, 2026, the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus adopted Resolution No. 27 "On Amending the Resolutions of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus dated May 3, 2021 No. 17 and November 9, 2022 No. 31", which came into force on September 26, 2026, except for certain provisions that come into force on November 20, 2026.
This resolution provides for a change in the procedure for Belarusian importers and exporters to transmit to the marking system information about identification means applied to goods concerning dairy products with a shelf life of more than 40 days – effective November 1, 2026, and with a shelf life of less than 40 days – effective March 1, 2027.
Belarusian economic entities, when exporting and importing dairy products to (from) the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, are obliged to transmit to the marking system information on each unit of product linked to the marking code applied to the unit of goods: from November 1, 2026 – concerning dairy products with a shelf life of more than 40 days; from March 1, 2027 – concerning dairy products with a shelf life of up to 40 days (inclusive).
Furthermore, effective November 1, 2026, Belarusian economic entities, when supplying dairy products to the Russian Federation, may indicate the batch number in the marking system (if necessary). The resolution stipulates that the batch number shall be filled in accordance with the requirements and conditions applied in the RUP "Belblankavyd" Publishing House and must correspond to the production batch number indicated in the state information system in the field of identification, registration, and traceability of animals (herds), identification and traceability of animal-origin products.
