Loudly, cheerfully and grandly, the district "Dozhinki" passed through Bobruyskina

Today in the agrotown of Mikhalovo, which has become the center of holiday events for the district fair-market this year, there was a crowd long before the celebration began. Before the festivities started, exhibitions of master craftsmen's decorative-applied works were being held, thematic courtyards of agricultural organizations, tastings, literary expositions, an exhibition of agricultural machinery, children's attractions, traveling trade and much more.

The main attributes of the holiday are grain carts made from new harvest. In other words, the contribution of Bobruisk district to the all-Russian caravan is more than 42 thousand tons, considering rapeseed as well.

The main heroes of "Dozhinki" are millers. It is precisely their heavy and self-sacrificing labor in the fields that ensures a rich harvest and bread on tables.

Among the honorary guests of the district holiday are Vladimir Gatsko, head of the main health administration of Mogilev oblivtskom, Anatoly Glaz, chairman of the regional veterans' organization, honored citizen of Bobruisk district, Vladimir Petrovich, chairman of the regional trade union organization of agricultural industry workers, heads of neighboring districts, as well as enterprises of processing industry, representatives of law enforcement agencies and clergy.

The event began with laying flowers at the commemorative sign of soldiers and partisans-peasants who died during the Great Patriotic War. It continued with a festive procession. Then on the main staging platform took place a ceremony awarding the leading figures of the district competition for harvesting grain and legume crops. Thus, among agricultural and other organizations, SPK "Gigant" was recognized as the leader of the harvest, second place went to the branch "Vorotyne" of JSC "BZDtiA", third place was taken by JSC "Niversk-Agro". Congratulations and meritorious awards were also accepted by heroes of the past harvest – drivers, combine harvesters operators, workers of grain drying complexes.

As emphasized by Alexander Kavanin, chairman of the Bobruisk district executive committee, the main wealth of the region is hardworking, goal-oriented people who sincerely love their homeland, know how to work and are always aimed at maximum results.

"This year nature has repeatedly tested you on endurance, however this exam Bobruisk district has passed with honor," noted Alexander Nikolaevich.

The festive program of the festival-fair was continued by talented locals — the best vocalists and groups of the district. They wholeheartedly gave the guests of 'Dozhinok' a good mood.
