Today, this structural subdivision of the Osipovichi Experimental Forestry Enterprise processes 4,000–4,500 cubic meters of commercial timber (mainly pine and spruce) monthly and produces about 1,500 cubic meters of finished products that are in demand in various sectors.

Here you can buy rounded logs, molded products, profile parts (floorboards, block-house siding), and split firewood. In addition to the domestic market, over 70% of the products manufactured by the Lipen workshop are exported. Woodworking products are sold to the public both directly at the workshop site, based on "here and now" availability, and at the Forest House trading site in Bobruisk. Local residents can order split firewood year-round, and this type of fuel is also purchased by legal entities in the district. Firewood is in high demand! As for the different types of sawn timber, in this case most of the finished sawn products are sold for export.

A team of 80 people ensures the stable operation of the Lipen workshop. Among them are 32 woodworking machine operators and 11 lumber stackers. All those directly involved in production work a rotating schedule of "two days on, two days off," 12 hours a day. Notably, among those who work with wood, there are about a dozen women. And they cope with the work admirably. For example, a tandem of a female machine operator and a female stacker processes 2,044 boards per shift — about 15.5 tons of products! By the way, the longest work record at the enterprise (29 years) belongs to machine operator Victoria Shlykova, while her colleague Oleg Vysotsky is slightly behind (22 years). But, of course, the workshop also takes on young specialists: five of them joined this year.

The experience of the Lipen woodworking workshop once again proves that competent development of natural resources can simultaneously support the economy of the forestry enterprise and the district, strengthen ties with foreign partners, and work for the benefit of the local population, because the workshop provides a considerable number of jobs. Behind the achieved results stands a cohesive team in which the experience of mentors is already being carried forward by a new generation of specialists.
