The OOO "Zabolotye-Agrostandart" unit, consisting of Dmitry Shito, Vasily Shito, Sergey Shudenkov, and Alexander Solovyov, took an honorable second place in the district competition among operator groups of grain drying facilities. On the KZSK-30G dryer, they processed 4,973.8 tons of grain. This is an achievement by which not only the enterprise but also the district proudly takes pride.
Cohesive teamwork is the key to success
Behind these figures lies the daily, intense labor of a united group that worked without days off across two shifts throughout the entire harvest season. The workers here are friendly and responsible: experience combined with mutual support goes hand in hand with energy and a desire to achieve results.
Of particular note is the fact that two brothers – Dmitry and Vasily Shitovs – work within the group. Sergey Shudenkov and Alexander Solovyev are also reliable partners whose contributions would make the smooth operation of the group impossible. Each of them knows their role, understands colleagues' tasks, and is ready to lend a hand at any moment. It is precisely such team spirit that enabled them to show good results. Sergey Shudenkov can be considered a veteran at the dryer. He knows the technique and the nuances of operation well.
Quality Control Under Strict Oversight
For every ton of dried grain, there are tens of hours of work on the KZSK-30G dryer. Constant monitoring of moisture content, temperature, and the quality of incoming grain is essential. The drying complex is a complex technical facility where even minor setting errors could cost the enterprise valuable harvests.
The group's mechanizers operated at high intensity: grain arrived almost continuously, especially during the peak harvesting period. The goal was not simply to dry the grain, but to do so properly – preserving germination rates, preventing overheating, ensuring uniform treatment of the entire batch.
The result speaks for itself: second place in the competition is a recognition of the entire team's professionalism.
The KZSK-30G dryer is one of the most productive machines of its class. It is capable of processing grain of various crops: wheat, rye, barley, corn, rapeseed, bringing it to the necessary moisture conditions. For the enterprise this means the possibility not only to save the harvest but also to prepare it for realization or delivery to an elevator.
But even the most perfect technology requires skilled hands. The mechanizers of the unit of OAO “Zabolotye‑agrostandart” have mastered the specifics of working precisely on this dryer, know its strong points and can compensate for nuances. This is precisely the human factor that turns a machine into an effective tool.
— Overall, we worked through the season without serious breakdowns. If problems arose, we gathered together and promptly carried out repairs, — said Sergei Shudenkov. — The season was tough. Sometimes rain, sometimes heat. The grain arrived with varying moisture, so we constantly had to adjust the dryer settings. But we quickly got in sync with the guys, prompting each other. We have results and we are proud of them. Most importantly — the farm’s grain is of high quality, and that is our common worthy result.
It can be said with confidence that second place in the district competition is not only a personal achievement of the unit, but also an indication that the farm has well‑organized personnel work, created conditions for labor, and people respond in kind — with conscientious attitude to the work.
