Violations of trade rules and sanitary standards were identified by the State Control Committee of the Brest Region during an inspection of trade facilities in the Droghichin District.

It was found that a number of confectionery and meat semi-finished products lacked documents confirming their quality and safety, storage conditions and regimes were not observed in the trade facilities, and mandatory product information for consumers was missing.

In addition, the sale of expired goods (meat semi-finished products, bakery and confectionery products) with expiration dates of up to 21 days was identified.

As a result of control measures, more than 45 kg of hazardous products (expired, low-quality, without documents) was withdrawn from circulation.

Measures to restore order have been taken by the owners of the facilities.

The shelf life of these meat sausages expired 7 days ago, but they were still on the shelves.
