In Brest, a sentence was handed down to a 34-year-old deputy director for livestock at one of the farms in the Malorita district. The man was found guilty of receiving nearly 15,000 rubles in bribes from a representative of a company that supplies feed additives.

As the court established, from October 2024 to February 2026, the deputy director repeatedly received money for lobbying the interests of this company.

The man himself did not admit guilt. However, he reimbursed part of the money received before the sentence was passed.

The Leninsky District Court of Brest sentenced him to four years in prison and a fine of 300 basic units, or 13,500 rubles. In addition, for five years the man will not be able to hold positions involving organizational, administrative, and economic responsibilities.

He must also pay back the remaining portion of the income received — about 6,000 rubles. The verdict has not yet entered into legal force and may be appealed.
