The National Bank is issuing coins "Minsk Tractor Works. 80 Years" starting April 22 — the first commemorative coins minted in Belarus at CJSC "Gomel Production Association "KRISTALL" — the managing company of the KRISTALL-HOLDING holding. This was reported by the National Bank's press service.

Among them, a silver coin with a face value of 20 rubles, weighing 31.1 g, with a diameter of 38.6 mm, alloy purity of 999.9, with a mintage of 2,000 pieces will be issued. As well as a nickel silver coin with a face value of 1 ruble, weighing 22 g, with a diameter of 38.6 mm, with a mintage of 3,000 pieces.

Nickel silver is being used for the first time in the minting of Belarusian coins. This is a corrosion-resistant alloy of copper with nickel and zinc, externally resembling silver.

The coins have a round shape, with a rim protruding along the circumference on the obverse and reverse sides. The edge of the coins has a milled texture.

On the reverse of the coins, on the right side in the center, there is an image of a tractor; on the left side in the center there is an inscription: "80 BELARUS 1946 — 2026, МІНСКІ ТРАКТАРНЫ ЗАВОД".

The National Bank will provide additional information on the date when the coins will become available for sale.

The coin issued into circulation is a legal tender of the Republic of Belarus and must be accepted at face value for all types of payments without any restrictions.
