Today, the National Bank has defined the list of systemically important banks for 2027. The list includes 11 organizations divided into two groups.
How systemic significance was determined
The classification of banks as systemically important was based on an aggregated assessment of their systemic significance.
The calculation was based on four indicators. The first is the scale of the bank's activities. The second is interconnectedness with resident banks. The third is significance for the economy. The fourth is interconnectedness with non-residents.
The calculation procedure complies with the instruction on the procedure for determining systemically important banks and non-bank credit and financial organizations.
The instruction was approved by the resolution of the Board of the National Bank of May 18, 2017, No. 180.
