MTS has summed up the results of the development of its fifth-generation network. 5G internet operates on approximately 1,100 base stations, and the coverage area spans more than 400 square kilometers across Minsk, Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, and Mogilev. Work continues to prepare for the launch in Grodno.

5G delivers higher speeds and minimal latency, opening access to a wide variety of use cases—from work and study to high-definition streaming. The fifth-generation network now covers central districts, most residential neighborhoods, business centers, social facilities, key transport routes, industrial zones, and popular leisure spots.

To help subscribers assess network availability in a specific location, MTS publishes a detailed coverage map. You can view it and check for 5G availability in your area on the official website.

Recall that MTS launched 5G in early April. The network is being rolled out in stages in cooperation with beCloud, which provides access to infrastructure. The technology works on Android smartphones whose manufacturers have provided hardware and software support for 5G in Belarus.
