The Mozyr Machine‑Building Plant is expanding its range of forestry equipment, reports gp.by citing “Traktor.by”.
Deputy director for marketing and service, Alla Kacemba, said that in December of this year a prototype of the new manipulator model M‑100 will be assembled. It will meet all global standards: with a longer boom reach, greater payload, and all high‑pressure pipelines and hoses will be concealed inside the metal structure, which will increase the device’s reliability when operating in the forest. With the help of hydraulic manipulators, almost no manual work is required at the felling site, and loading timber is done many times faster. The company has all the competencies to make this product in demand and useful for organizations of the Ministry of Forestry.
In the plans for the coming year, the company has another project—a forwarder of its own production with maximum localization. It is intended to create a lightweight version so as not to compete in the country with another forestry equipment manufacturer.
