In Mogilev, the tax inspectorate has billed a taxi company 36,300 rubles in taxes, including 35,800 rubles in personal income tax, for issuing salaries "in an envelope."

— Employees received 137,500 rubles in income in cash, which the carrier withdrew from circulation supposedly for depositing into their own accounts, — noted in the press center of the MNS Inspectorate of the Republic of Belarus for the Mogilev Region. — Personal income tax was not withheld or paid to the budget from the disbursed incomes. Furthermore, the taxpayer understated its tax base under the simplified taxation system by 8,500 rubles, resulting in an underpayment of 500 rubles.

Employees of the MNS Inspectorate for the Oktyabrsky District of Mogilev, who identified the violations during a desk audit, sent a notification to the carrier proposing that they voluntarily calculate and pay the due taxes. However, the carrier did not comply with the notification. The inspectorate then drew up an audit act. A total of 36,300 rubles in taxes has been demanded for payment to the budget.
