Mogilev City Emergency Situations Department announces recruitment for contract service: who they expect in the ranks of rescuers and what benefits the state guarantees

Maria Yurchenko 08.09.2026 The Mogilev City Emergency Situations Department (GOChS) has launched recruitment of employees for contract service. The rescue agency invites motivated and physically fit young people.

Citizens of the Republic of Belarus up to the age of 28, with no health contraindications or criminal records, are accepted for service. The following positions are currently open:

• Firefighter-rescuer (good physical fitness and readiness to work in extreme conditions required);
• Driver (a driver's license with the right to drive category "C" vehicles is required).

Social package and service conditions

Service in the units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus provides employees with a full set of social guarantees and benefits:

• Substitution for compulsory military service: a contract with the Ministry of Emergency Situations counts in lieu of compulsory military service in the Armed Forces;
• Work schedule: shift system — 24 hours on duty, 48 hours off (one day on, two days off);
• Financial support: stable and decent salary, as well as monetary compensation for housing rental expenses;
• State guarantees: free provision of uniforms and clothing, comprehensive medical care in departmental healthcare institutions;
• Leave and pension: long annual paid leave, the right to preferential pension provision with early retirement.
