Mogilev region intends to strengthen cooperation with China's Shaanxi province

The Mogilev region plans to intensify cooperation with the Chinese province of Shandong. This was reported on air by Anatoly Isachenko, chairman of the Mogilev regional administration, in the "First Information" television channel.

Anatoly Isachenko led an official delegation from the Mogilev region to Shandong (PRC) on the occasion of the five-year anniversary of the fraternal relations with Shandong province. According to him, almost everything that had been planned previously has been carried out. A new stage is signing a roadmap for the next period. The document should be filled with concrete projects, some of which were discussed during negotiations.

Chinese partners have interest in organizing production of tower cranes at "Stromashina" (a branch of JSC "BELAZ") that are needed in Belarus. The project is at the development stage. Proposals for cooperation with "Mogilevtransmash" and other areas of interaction were also mentioned.

"This includes the creation of joint enterprises for producing livestock products, dairy products, beef cultivation, and active cooperation in the humanitarian sphere. Agreements have been signed between the Belarusian Agricultural Academy and the North-Western University of China. An already implemented project exists. A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Mogilev State University named after A.A. Kuleshov and the Xi'an University of Foreign Languages. In other words, cooperation is developing across many directions," said Anatoly Isachenko, adding that tourism was among the topics discussed.

During the visit, the delegation visited several enterprises where they familiarized themselves with achievements in the field of artificial intelligence. A business forum was held, where business circles from Belarus and China presented opportunities for each other and discussed interaction options.
